Hannah Senior Studio

     Today in class we used our creative side to touch on important artistic points that we have had both in and outside of class. Such as influences, mediums best work of art ect. I started reading all the questions to start before doing my work. Then I decided to create each one with a picture with the word mom in the center because she is how I got into art. Everything was in color rather then with pencil because I like working in color mainly. It was really interesting to see what I came up with on the spot.

Here is the room i created based off different places in the building

with this picture i was making the mountain (longs peak) standing out and glowing from the background. I drew the blades of grass so they look like they are going back to give the drawing depth.

Here is the candy painting. i had a lot of fun with this and worked hard on it. I am really proud of the shading.

Alexander DeMaria

I think that the work that Alex does is very detailed and it has many small components that make it pop and make it spectacular. The small details he added i think make the piece really unique. My favorite piece that he created was of the two bison that he cut out using an exacto knife.
My question of Alex would be...Where do you get your inspiration?
